I Cannot Overstate How Insane Cyberpunk 2077’s Upcoming Changes Are

I didn’t have time to catch everything in the Gamescom showcase yesterday, but I just got around to seeing the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty stuff that was shown off there, and it turns out, it wasn’t really about the expansion at all.

CDPR has been promising enormous changes to the entirety of Cyberpunk 2077, with birds-eye overviews of what would be touched, perks, police AI, etc. But I was not expecting what just happened in the trailer below, which, I am not kidding, made me burst out laughing a few times given the pure insanity of what I was seeing.

This is just wild. I was not expecting something at this level and again I wish this could have been the launch game. But yes, I will absolutely return for not just Phantom Liberty, but perhaps some additional grinding as well with all these new systems. I cannot start a fourth playthrough. I can’t. Maybe.
